Catching up
Flying is excellent. Here are some reasons :
- You get to watch movies you wanted to see but didn’t have the time. In the loop is marvellous. Watchmen is dull. Layer cake - predictable (Dexter Fletcher : more press gang less gangster movies please).
- You get to read all the blogs you haven’t read for the past two years. Some amazing things: peoples stories of fostering, ot job nightmares, pains, and excellent hope. Also love looking at friends new families. This is what the web is for. Better than all the 70% of geek talk which is really just talking about the net rather than talking about real cold life. So here comes the apology: sorry OT online community.
- Here’s the promise: I promise that I will make it up :) I have plans and after the conference I’m currently at they WILL go ahead :)
- It gives you plenty of time to wonder if you have put that presentation on the memory stick in your bag or if that’s a different stick
- You get wacky thoughts like “shall I write a paper on this” or “I think a visit to the 2010 AOTA conference is needed” yes I am mad. 2010 is officially. A quiet year.
