Gaming in Education
Love this. It’s a post from Joel Levin. He is a computer teacher at a private school in NYC. One of many recent little things to explore in my current role is the use of gaming to support education in children with speech, language and communication difficulties. I work with a fab teacher & SLT who have already started this work - using Myst within special school classes. What I love about the above video is how engaged these kids are, how much communication is going on, the need to watch, listen and then repeat, and to work as a group. That’s from my rather uneducated view… Looking forward to playing with it all soon.
