My Favourite video of the month. (Closely followed by New Yorkbut for completely different reasons). What I find fascinating is the push for universal design isn’t coming from companies that already exist for the disabled - its coming from companies and organisations that have largely existed for the mainstream. Why is that? A few people have suggested its because “design is expensive”. I think its actually because these AT companies don’t see the real value of placing a lot more of their cash into design and usability rather than salesmen. My advice folks: if your product works well (without a manual) it doesn’t need a salesman.
